Please review the booking, vehicle usage, payment, damage, and liability terms carefully before confirming any booking with KSP self drive.

1Security Deposit

  • This is a refundable security deposit of up to Rs 5000 to Rs 10000.
  • Security deposit will be refunded immediately after returning the car.
  • Refund is subject to verification of fastag charges and traffic violations.
  • Please note traffic violations may reflect on the government portal after 3 to 4 days from the booking end time.

2Pricing Plans and Extra Kms Charges

  • Based on customer requirements, multiple kilometre packages are provided with defined kilometre limits.
  • The total kilometre limit for your booking is calculated by multiplying the duration of your booking with the hourly kilometre limit of the pricing plan you select.
  • If extra kilometres are driven beyond the total kilometre limit of your booking, additional extra kilometre charges apply and vary by car model.

3Fuel Reimbursement

  • All kilometre packages are without fuel.
  • There will be sufficient fuel at handover and the vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level.
  • Remaining fuel is not refundable.

4Cancellation and Charges

  • Customers can cancel the booking subject to applicable conditions and charges.
  • The booking amount is not refundable.

5Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling must be informed 24 hours prior to the booking start time and is subject to car availability.
  • Extension duration should be at least 6 hours.
  • Customers are eligible for a 1 hour buffer time on every booking end time.
  • If informed after the 1 hour buffer time, extra hour charges will be charged as per the car rate.
  • If not informed after the booking end time, extra hour charges will be charged as per the car rate.
  • Customer should share the complete video of the car.

6Swapping Vehicle

  • Customers should inform 24 hours prior to the booking start time.
  • Vehicle swapping is subject to car availability.
  • Charges may differ depending on the car type.

7Over Speeding

  • Speed limit is from 80 to 110 kmph.
  • If the customer exceeds 110 kmph, INR 500 will be charged for each violation.

8Vehicle Damage

  • The customer is responsible in cases of negligence and non-compliance with laws or with the KSP self drive customer agreement.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics is strictly prohibited.

9Accident Policy

  • If the vehicle is damaged, the customer is responsible for the loss and damage and must pay KSP self drive for all damage regardless of cause.
  • In the event of an accident, the customer must pay the repair cost as estimated by an authorized dealership, along with downtime losses. The customer should pay the rent for the number of days the vehicle remains unavailable, along with any related charges.
  • This applies independent of the nature and terms of the insurance cover on the cars.
  • Consequential damage is also chargeable when the customer continues driving a vehicle that is performing abnormally.
  • Beach or off-road driving is prohibited for KSP self drive vehicles and attracts Rs 8000 compensation in addition to other damages.
  • KSP self drive vehicles cannot be used for purposes forbidden or prohibited by law. The customer is solely responsible for all legal consequences of such usage.
  • Charges and liabilities also apply when the driver at the time of incident is different from the booking applicant.
  • Charges and liabilities also apply when the customer is under the influence of alcohol or narcotics while driving.
  • Charges and liabilities also apply when the number of people in the car exceeds the standard seating capacity.
  • Charges and liabilities also apply when interstate tax is not paid before entering a state where it is required.
  • Charges and liabilities also apply in case of misrepresentation in driving license or ID proof details.
  • Charges and liabilities also apply where there is clear evidence of rash and negligent driving.
  • Charges and liabilities also apply when the customer violates traffic rules or the Motor Vehicles Act.

10Cleanliness and Maintenance

  • KSP self drive conducts periodic checks on vehicle performance and ensures that hired vehicles are clean.
  • The customer must ensure that the vehicle is not soiled while returning possession.
  • Use of chewing gum, tobacco, or any tobacco-based product inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited and attracts penalties.
  • Burning of any substance inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited, including cigarettes, incense sticks, or medication or drugs.
  • Visible fabric stains, torn fabric, sand, or excessive mud inside the vehicle may attract charges.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the vehicle.
  • KSP self drive reserves the right to block, penalize, or fine the customer at its own discretion in case of non-compliance.
  • Cleaning charges will be charged as per car and generally range from Rs 250 to Rs 300.

11Interstate Trip

  • Customers are responsible for paying all tolls and state permits.
  • KSP self drive vehicles are registered with an all-India permit, allowing entry into any state of India.

12Fastag

  • FASTag features are available in all KSP self drive cars for hassle-free national highway toll travel.
  • The customer should recharge fastag based on trip duration using PhonePe, GPay, or Paytm.
  • Transaction receipt screenshot must be shared with the executive at drop time.
  • If the customer uses existing fastag balance without recharge, double the fastag amount used will be charged.
  • Since fastag is not managed by KSP self drive, any double charges or toll issues are not the responsibility of KSP self drive.

13Towing Charges

  • In case of user negligence or accident, the full towing cost must be paid by the customer.

14Personal Belongings

  • KSP self drive is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of personal property belonging to the user, co-passenger, or third party regardless of fault or negligence.
